ORIENTATION

Having proper orientation before going to the field of our work is important. It reminds us the rules and regulations in our work that we must follow.

In my case, my cooperating teacher is the one who gave orientation to me. Since he is also the contact person or the coordinator of Field study 6 in my cooperating school, which is the Claro M. Recto. Mr. Josh gave me a short however, it is the information that all I need while having my observations. informative orientation. He discussed to me how many hours is allowed each day, and what are the do's and don'ts while having my observation in his class.

By this few but very important information is very vital for me. It is also another way to avoid any conflicts with him and so as the school also. Claro M. Recto is a very good school, students are very respectful, teachers are very approachable, and they are all kind.

Hi Guys!!! I am Kimberly Ramirez, 19 years old (but I looked so matured for my age hahaha!) I am from Marilao, Bulacan. Too far? Uhmm, yes. Like, an hour way from Manila. I can feel that you’re wondering why i'm here in Pampanga. My mom started to work here 5 years ago. She decided that Pampanga is the right place where should I study. And she's right. She sent me to a well-known university here in Pampanga, the Holy Angel University! A Catholic University where you can make your best memories with good people, harmonious environment, and anywhere inside the campus. When my class observation started that is when I truly realized and got a lot of views how difficult teaching is. There are a lot of factors to consider and to prioritized in order to provide a good quality education. And since then, I contemplate if to teach is what I really want. Despite of what I saw in my observations and how other teacher tells their story, I take everything in teach...

ELEMENTS OF TEACHING

T eacher is the best and vital element in teaching. Mr. Josh is a teacher who enter his classroom and a white broad marker with him. Haven't seen him yet bringing instructional materials for the class. As one of my professor said "Teacher is always the best instructional material in the classroom." this is very evident if a teacher can teach without any instructional materials to bring. Mastery of the subject is the key to achieve this thing. If you do not know what you are going to teach, you might have a difficulty in teaching your students. This might lead to, the students will be the one who will correct you or the it will lead to confusion among your students.

WONG #2

"It is the teacher who makes the difference in the classroom." This is a line from Mr. Wong during his 2nd video that I watched. He is just trying to make emphasis on the dignity of the teacher. I love it so much that he is trying to empower the dignity of every teacher. That every teacher have the ability to make difference in a classroom that is full of lost students. Teachers are the ones who makes paths for them, giving them the understanding that they need, love and care they looking for and the ability to make changes in each students lives. Kudos to all teachers who are giving their best to make a difference and be part of each success for all students!
